Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

I spent the early part of the month re-reading the first six Harry Potter books in anticipation of the last one. (I noticed that I bought the first Potter book in October 1999 in San Mateo.) When the new book finally arrived, I had tennis matches several days in a row which prevented me from reading the book in one go. Instead, it took me four days to finish. Without giving anything away, I'll say that the writing of the last book is more sophisticated, although the story line is messier. I have jotted down what I consider are inconsistencies in the plot, but I have to wait for everyone else to finish reading before I can discuss with them. Hurry up, Jeff!
